Happy Birthday Finu

Just what every man wants to do on his birthday... just lay around. Course maybe not so much to lay in a twisted position and try to chisel out the wedge of rotten plywood subfloor inside of the wall cavity but hey, he was lying down.

And I do have to say, nice butt for a grandpa, also, personally I'm enjoying the rediscovery of calluses on his hands. Have to point out his hat to, the absolute perfect redneck chapeau, a gift from Jacob...might just look like the standard dress up baseball cap, it's black with the Craftsman logo in a tasteful red but noooo, it doesn't stop there. This special hat has a switch, flip that switch and 2 highbeam lights glow like animal eyes from the brim, WOW! redneck heaven! Samantha is going to be so jealous.

Have to share the highlight of the weekend....see the picture to the right? in the picture, see the back of the sink cabinet to the left? see the wall and pipes to the right? Jerry came in from his visit to BR and decided to help. Stood right there behind the sink cabinet and poured out Kylie's full glass of milk, poured it right down the sink. um, yea, Jerry, the sink is in front of you but um, the pipe is behind you. um, Jerry, might need a towel to finish up your helping. Keep in mind that this is the same dahlin' that told me not to worry about the structural integrity of my home because Dad with his engineering skills AND Jerry with his computer scientist skills were more than capable of figuring out any problem lowly construction issues. I'm thinking maybe it would be a good idea for my weekend mornings to be started with a xanax and Abita Amber instead of coffee.
